Brooklyn museum, it’s a beautiful museum located right next to Prospect park. They have huge amount of artworks. We could enjoy a whole day with them.

They have 5floors, holding an exhibition on each floor. The best thing is they have different types of exhibition such as American traditional arts, historical daily items, European oil paintings, works by Brooklyn based artist…so it’s going to be like an Art Travel to look around. They also have a specific description for each works. We can learn their history, culture, philosophy, perspective.

When we get hungry or feel tired to look around, they have a cafe. So we can rest and have some food easily. Outside terrace also looks cozy to relax.

Today, I’ll be talking about the Central Library of Brooklyn.
With its breathtaking façade, sweeping grand lobby and vast contemporary and historical collections, Central Library is a Brooklyn icon. And this year marks the 125th anniversary of its founding.

They have broad functions, so you won't be bored. The divisions are as follows:
・Major Owens Welcome Center
・New & Noteworthy
・Civic Commons
・Languages & Literature
・Youth Wing
・Info Commons
・Business & Career Center
・Society, Sciences & Technology
・History, Biography & Religion
・Art & Music
・Central Learning Center
They also have "Emma's Torch Cafe" so you can relax and spend some time reading.

First, I'll share my impressions from my first visit there. I think it has many points of similarity to the Japanese one.
For example, inside the building there is a tree motif that is also usually seen in Japan and the atmosphere of tranquility is the same.

​Second, I would like to show you the space that I like the most. It's the "Youth Wing" (for kids) because it makes use of paintings which were drawn by children. In addition to this, there are a lot of drawings that win the hearts of children.

For today I found pretty beautiful places in Brooklyn botanic garden so I’d like to introduce that.

First of all, it has 3 entrane and you might confused if you try to book the ticket to enter here. But don’t worry, all entrance is connected inside so you can choose close one, more comfortable one I guess. We can choose

• 990 Washington Avenue
  
• 150 Eastern Parkway
  
• 455 Flatbush Avenue

And also of course you can exit different one than you entered.

And then, it can see many type of flower, and tree, I walked around there it could be so relaxing and it made me calm. You can enjoy it just stay and sit down under the tree or bench when you tired. some of tree makes shadow with good breeze.

This place has a lot of green leaves and it is good to play for children.

It has a lot of flower in there.

it has pond and building like Japanese garden, it can see beautiful tree, big pond and some of animals live here like turtle, carp, and duck.
And also you might see animals which living around this garden, like many type of bird, squirrel, fish, and other animal I couldn’t find for today. In addition, it is holding the exhibition “For the Bird” for garden’s resident bird. During that event you can see many type of very unique birdhouse in the garden.

Finally, you can discover, or relax both of it makes you satisfied, environments changes all each seasons, and also you should check it their new exhibition it will plan other interesting event. so I hope you try to go them if you come to Brooklyn.

I discovered a lovely eco-friendly store on Myrtle Avenue in the Brooklyn Navy Yard neighborhood. The shop is called Green in BKLYN. They offer a wide range of unique and beautiful products, such as puzzles featuring illustrated streets in Brooklyn and iconic NYC landmarks. Additionally, they have soap products that resemble jewelry. When you visit the store and explore, you'll find the space to be visually appealing.

A few days ago, I visited Green in BKLYN and had a conversation with Elisa, the founder of this shop. In recent times, we often come across terms like 'sustainable,' 'SDGs,' or 'caring for the environment.' However, Elisa opened this shop thirteen years ago. What led her to recognize the significance of eco-friendly shopping so early on?

After graduating from university, she realized the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle and the limited availability of eco-friendly products in the area. Furthermore, recognizing the need for busy individuals to conveniently purchase a wide range of items in one store, she initiated the one-stop shop, Green in BKLYN, dedicated to encouraging an eco-friendly lifestyle.



At this store, you can shop for everyday essentials and souvenirs. The collection of cool and sustainable items includes cleaning products and beautiful crafts crafted by local artists. You'll also find beauty products like shampoos and body creams, as well as toys for kids and dogs, and groceries. Each item is useful and comes in an appealing package

Hello. This time, I would like to introduce "BAGGU" a sustainable shop. 
It is located in the fashionable and refreshing city of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.

The store offers not only eco-friendly bags, but also other simple and colorful products such as tote bags made of recycled cotton, functional travel bags and pouches. 
All products are fun and easy to enjoy in everyday life. 
Even now, the BAGGU continues to work on developing more sustainable products.

Since 2019ss, they have updated from 100% nylon to recycled nylon, which contains 40% recycled material. 
Furthermore, from 2022ss, the nylon fabric has been changed to 100% recycled material. 
   
We can contribute to sustainability efforts by purchasing this earth-friendly product because we can use it for a long time. 
  
In addition, a new BAGGU collaboration with Sanrio characters is now available.

It was comfortable and has become one of my favorite shops. You can also enjoy shopping at the other adjacent stores, which are also very nice.
