This local sustainable exhibition is a joint project of Brooklyn Beauty/Fashion Labo, DINNY, HANDY DIGITAL, Saga Creative Japan, Overjoyed, Jusanji, Niki Hills Winery. The aim of the project is to revitalize Kanto, Touhoku and Hokkaido aria of Japan's monozukuri (craftsmanship) and sustainable markets and to introduce them to the world.

Social Products Award, which is an organization, has selected Japanese sustainable products annually from 2013. This time, BBFL and Social Products Award introduces over 50 winners from the selection in Brooklyn.

Female Start-Ups Vol.2 -Japan to Brooklyn- This is the second installment of "Female Start−Ups -Japan to Brooklyn-", which is held by Brooklyn Beauty Fashion Labo, Square Up Consulting and Daily Information NY（DINNY）. We intend to introduce sustainable brands and products produced by female entrepreneurs. Our aim is to support active women who enrich the society with their brands or services. Incredible items are going to be displayed for two months at a showroom in Brooklyn or an online gallery.

Totem Upflow, originally set to open in the Spring of 2020, symbolizes our collective renewed resilience in this year.

BBFL x Made in Brooklyn Tours Art & Design Expo "BROOKLYN by DESIGN" Made in Brooklyn Tours® is kicking off the season with the Brooklyn by Design (BKD) Holiday Expo, a unique shopping expo featuring NYC artists and designers. Dom Gervasi, owner & producer of the award-winning Made in Brooklyn Tours is curating the show. And NYC fashion designer Minika Ko is supporting the show with her knowledge and experience in the fashion industry. Shop for original artwork by local artists and brands by local designers of fashion, beauty, home décor products and more.
Brooklyn by Design will be open to the public on weekends from 12PM to 6PM for meet and greets with artists and designers at Brooklyn Beauty/Fashion Labo in Park Slope from Saturday, November 28 through December 23 and virtually on BBFL's online gallery. |

BBFL x BWAC Art Exhibition Brooklyn Waterfront Artists Coalition was formed in 1976 by a group of 16 artists looking simply to exhibit their work. In 1986, “BWAC” moved to its permanent home in the Red Hook waterfront neighborhood of Brooklyn. We are an all-volunteer group of member artists that manage all aspects of a nonprofit 501-(3)c gallery. BWAC is dedicated to giving emerging and mid-career artists space to exhibit their art, plus we support artists who may not have an opportunity to show their artwork such as the disabled, students, and those facing economic hardship.
