The chakras are the foundation for our body+spirit connection. Through these we gain a deeper development of our health and growth. The last three of seven are depicted here through the third eye, connecting them with a flow of color and light.

Miriam Kagan "To Step on the Flowers" Framed Intaglio Print

$300.00

Etched into a copper plate and printed on handmade Indian watercolor paper.

This image is from a photo I took in the tulip fields of South Holland in April of 2018 . I was inspired to make it into an etching after seeing an exhibit of intaglio prints by Salvador Dali a few days later in Bruge, Belgium. This encompasses how I feel about the beauty of etchings in which you take a tedious, rough process of making a print of the softness of flowers, and how they bloom.

It taught me that we bloom the most from the darkest places because it's there that we find forgiveness, generosity and growth.

Framed in a 10"w x 12"h x 3.5"d floating frame.
