Fragrance Description:
I wanted FR! 01/04 to be as bright and exhilarating as a weekend getaway to Argentina, while also recalling the sensuality and tempo of the tango. Conceived as two bodies dancing, its structure evokes the tango’s abrazo, as an intense floral, with magnolia and cassie flower, and an enchanting woody note embrace with passion and grace.
About the Perfumer:
Amélie Bourgeois had a simple, peaceful childhood in the French countryside, lulled by the scents of cut wheat, soil,sand and pine. Unconsciously, she found herself constantly drawn to the scents around her. She studied Cosmetology for three years, in which the issue of perfume was hardly addressed. Her interest was so piqued by the mysterious “0.2% of perfume concentrate” that was added to skincare lines that she chose to do her internship at Cinquième Sens, the fragrance house and provider of training programs for perfume lovers and professionals. There, almost immediately, Amélie discovered a magical connection to perfume.
She learned to play with materials and rebuild the scents of her childhood. She remained at Cinquième Sens for seven years, as a perfumer and trainer, and subsequently formed FLAIR, a perfume creation studio, with Martine Denisot. As an independent perfumer, she has now theopportunity to create fragrances, putting her experience, reactivity, attention and refinement to use.
