FR! 01/06 tells the story of the encounter between the insouciant, fresh Persian Lime and the woody, profound Vetiver. It’s the merging of sunlight on tree leaves and the wind rustling through the grass, a story that unfolds over time. Beginning with a passionate kiss, it slowly transforms, leaving a tender caress that lingers on the skin.
About the Perfumer:
For Karine Chevallier, perfume is a twinned story of passion and patience, a passion that led her, in 1993, to study chemistry at ISIPCA, the French school of perfumery. “As I graduated, I discover that olfactory creation requires patience and time...”
As a perfumery student at a prestigious composition company, she learned the profession with master perfumer Jean-François Blayn, a former student of Edmond Roudnitska. But it was only after she worked at the Guerlain Fragrance House and obtained her degree in Luxury Industries Management that she started understanding perfumery as a whole: “a dream at the edge of arts and crafts,a product made from matter and magic, a history from everyone’s memory and a universal luxury.” In 2001, she became the head of the Paris office of a composition company based in Grasse. In 2005,she created her own lab, Olfactive Design.
